Well this last weekend we celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Brett was in charge of it this year. We switch off each year (he started off by being in charge of the honey moon). So he got a room at a Scottsdale resort for Friday night. We went to the Cheesecake Factory after work and went to the resort. On the way out from the Cheesecake Factory Brett spotted a Lamborghini, of course we stopped and got an awesome pic!
We then hit up the relaxing hot tub! I love hot tubs in this kind of weather. We realized that the hot tub is a funny/awkward place. Everyone wants the bubbles on but no one wants to get out and turn them on. Also, there are usually fewer bubble blasting spots to people so there's a "you snooze you lose" rule that when you move the bubble blasters are sure to get jacked by someone else. When we went down there, only one other couple was there. We turned on the bubbles and boom people started coming. It was like a light switch being hit on and the bugs swarming to it. We laughed. It was great relaxing night.

The next morning we strolled around Scottsdale on our beach cruiser bikes. We rode our bike to McDonald's and had some nutritious breakfast! We proceeded to get lost in through some neighborhoods trying to take a short cut. All else fails, remember that there's a map in your husband's pocket. We then found our way back home shortly there after. After our long bike ride we went for another swim at the pool. Then we laid out and Brett got burned after 10 minutes. We've been a little too cooped up from the sun I think. It was great catching some rays! We then went back to our room and watched a movie. It was the most relaxing weekend I've had for a while now. It was a great idea on Brett's part and I loved it!

On Monday, our actual anniversary, we had a candle light dinner for two at home serving up some pizza and Martinelli's. Brett sent me some beautiful flowers to work that day and got me all embarrassed. He was proud that they were called "Fields of Europe". So romantic and foreign! It was great though being the one to get flowers, showing that you're loved. He wrote an awesome letter to me as well. I loved it!
This year my gift was to change my name to Kayla Farr. I finally did it. I also gave him a new ring that actually fits and a blanket that was supposed to be for when he was sick but we got too busy to finish till now. So happy anniversary fun for sure!! Cheers to another forever years!!
