Last week though, we were able to celebrate our niece Lily's birthday. She passed away last year and this was her first birthday not being here. We celebrated by wearing pink, singing happy birthday, and letting go of 3 pink balloons (her 3rd birthday). I was able to make the cupcakes for the party and I was so excited too! I wanted to make them pink, pink, pink. It was my first scratch cupcakes and they turned out ok... not the best but ok. I went to the store about 4 times before I got all the ingredients! I also ran out of powdered sugar half way through the frosting... but 0t was fun making them. I tried making cute swirls on top, but they turned out to look like one of Jersey's squirts. It was funny! I wanted to do a 3 year old girls birthday justice though and tried to make them as cute as possible! Everyone said they were great! I am glad they liked them! We also planted a pink blossom tree: a Peach Tree! It is planted at Glenda and Darwin's house. It is such a cute little pink tree! I always wanted to have a pink cherry blossom tree! Glad we can remember Lily on her special day! Happy Birthday Lily!

Pink Blossoms
Well things have been going great in the Farr home! Brett has started a new job this past week. He is still getting adjusted so we'll see how things go. He is liking it so far, it is for InfusionSoft. They present to be the "trendy" place to work these days. Brett is enjoying a change.

the cupcakes look great! I'm so sorry for your loss! That would be the hardest thing ever for me. Thank goodness for the plan of salvation.
